The best advice I can give to anyone is this: don’t take up a nap in the middle of the day. It’s not as effective at waking you up, and it only prolongs the inevitable.
Not only that, but you are the one who decides if your body is awake. As long as we’re talking about the brain, it’s the one organ that has control of our body. And the body is extremely responsive to light, so if someone asks you to move around, and you don’t, your body will continue to do it that way until you do. So if you’re already sitting there with your eyes open watching the clock, you’re a no-show.
Sleep is for the weak. And the fact that your subconscious can decide you are awake by looking at the clock is rather scary. So, while it may be perfectly fine to wake up in the evening and not be able to sleep again in the morning, it’s not okay to have this option so you can sleep in the morning. Just because you can does not mean you should.
I could totally see this happening to a few of you. If a few of you are already awake when you wake up, and you do it again in the morning, that can be scary. That is why sleep apps are so awesome. Sleep apps give you the ability to turn off your brain and the ability to just sit there and do nothing. You can just sit there and do nothing while your brain is off and you are completely awake.
I am with you on this one. That is why sleep apps are so awesome. The first and most obvious benefit is that it allows you to fall asleep quicker. You don’t have to wait until you are in bed and you are able to fall asleep. You can simply sit there, or even get up and do nothing until you are ready to go. This allows you to do all your work, have a shower, get dressed, and get out.
