The songs by the film’s director Velai Illayapattathis are some of the best in Tamil. The music is so well-written, the songs so catchy and memorable, and the costumes so alluring. This film is perfect for all ages, and there is a reason that the title is alluding to Velai Illayarajan’s film, the Tamil classic ‘Kanda’.
I think the music and the song itself is the thing that makes the movie so wonderful, but the costumes are the icing on the cake. I remember walking up to a particular theater where these costumes were being auctioned and I was in a trance, wanting to take a picture so I could make a print. The costumes were so lovely. I think Velai Illayarajans also takes a lot of inspiration from his own movie.
The Kanda movie was based on a novel, but the costumes are much closer to a cartoon. I think the animation is way cooler since it is so vivid, but the costumes are also very nice.
The original Velai Illa Pattatharai movie was a pretty good movie, but I can’t say that it is anything close to the quality of the new trailer. I guess it is because the movie is set in the same universe that the movie trailer is based on, so in some ways the movie is a better adaptation.

I understand that it would be a cool idea for a sequel–we want to go back to the original Matrix movies–but it would be a waste of time to just tell you about the Matrix, and then tell you all about the sequel.
